An underused but valuable educational resource is Utah State University’s policy of letting seniors, 62 and over, to audit lecture courses, for a $10 fee per class.
Registration also gives students access to thousands of online humanities and science journals from the USU main campus library. In the past year and a half I have taken geology and biology courses, taught by local residents Tamsin McCormick and Tim Graham, respectively.
If you are interested in programs for senior citizens you may call Sam or Jan at 259-7432.
