The Moab Area Chamber of Commerce awarded its annual "Business of the Year Award" to WabiSabi on Nov. 10 at the chamber's annual banquet. The chamber also honored Moab business and community leader Mike Bynum with its annual "Citizen of the Year Award."

"WabiSabi exemplifies service to the community and does an outstanding job in supporting the non-profit and needs community," chamber president Phil Mueller said, presenting the Business of the Year Award to Jeff Cohen, executive director of WabiSabi.

Bynum was honored for his service to the Moab community as an assistant football coach at Grand County High School, the founder of several businesses and his involvement on the hospital board and its fund raising efforts.

The Moab Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors also honored former Moab Chamber Administrator Teresa Wyatt with a large floral bouquet for her service to the chamber.
