Sept. 8 deadline set for film festival entries

The Moab to Monument Valley Film Commission has issued its final call for submissions to the Get Reel In Moab Film Festival.

All entries must be submitted to the Moab Film Office by 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8. Submissions must be on DVD format, and must include contact information, the title of film, and any special instructions.

Any length or genre of film is eligible, but entries must be filmed in Grand, Emery, Carbon, or San Juan County, or the submission must be filmed by a resident of one of those counties.

Submitted films must have been completed between October 2007 and September 2008

The Get Reel in Moab film festival will be held Oct. 10-11 at Star Hall, in Moab. For more information, contact the Moab Film Office at 435-259-4341.
